MOBILE, Ala.- After a hard-fought contest, the Jaguars fell to Old Dominion at home in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss in the final minutes.
The Jags and Monarchs battled it out in the first half with both sides emphasizing an aggressive and physical style of play offensively. Both sides garnered several opportunities offensively but would be halted by stellar defensive play. Both sides entered the half with a scoreless stalemate.
As the second half rolled around, both teams reloaded their aggressive attacks and continued to inch closer to scoring opportunities.
Allison Luckhardt spearheaded the Jag defense with phenomenal play in goal, helping keep the Monarchs scoreless. South would unfortunately give up a goal in the 86th minute to the Monarchs as they took the 1-0 lead late. South made a few final pushes but would ultimately come up short in a 1-0 final.

The Jags will look to bounce back as they head to Lafayette to face Louisiana on October 10.
