QUOTABLE
Head coach Yolisha Jackson:
"We've had two really good weeks of practice. We definitely put in the work and preparation to win, but when you cannot keep people in front of you and give up 40 points in the paint, it is hard to win games. I thought we shared the ball much better than we had been two weeks ago, and I think you can see the progression from how we played at Monroe, to how we played at Southern Miss, then coming back home. Something we talked about was sharing the ball and having paint touch threes, and I think we did that. Defensively, we've got to get back to work and work on our closeouts and making sure we are in balance. Izzy Higginbottom is a hell of a player, there is a reason she is on all the watchlists, but we made it easy for her tonight. That part is on us. One thing about this team, they don't quit. These kids deserve to have a better outcome and it is coming. We just have to keep grinding."
