MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama women's golf returns to action this week when the Jaguars compete at the Leadership and Golf Invitational co-hosted by Seattle and Washington at Chambers Bay on the par 72, ??6,118-yard Chambers Course.
The two-day, 54-hole event will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday with each day beginning with a shotgun start. Scheduled to compete for the Jaguars at the tournament are
Malia Uyeshiro,
Cassidy Lambert,
Icie Cockerham,
Grace Suter and
Laura Burch.

BirdieFire. UCLA claimed the team title in 2022 (12-over 876), while UCLA's Emma Spitz took home medalist honors (one-under 215). The event was previously known as the Pacific NW Invitational.
Along with South Alabama, the 19-team field includes BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, USC, UC Riverside, Washington and Washington State, and will be comprised of 108 golfers.
The tournament marks the first West Coast trip for the Jags since the 2011-12 season when the Jaguars competed at the Folino Invitational at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in Industry, Calif., on Feb. 19-21, 2012.
Sutter and Cockerham led the way for the Jaguars at the USA Intercollegiate finishing tied for 23rd and 28th, respectively.
