Over the course of this month leading up to the start of the 2023 South Alabama football season, we will preview all the positions groups on the Jaguar roster.
The nine-part series examines each position group ahead of the season opener versus Tulane at Yulman Stadium on Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. This installment looks at South Alabama's quarterbacks.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
- Bradley has been named to a pair of watch list this summer – the Maxwell Award and the Wuerfell Trophy – while also earning preseason all-SBC recognition from both the league coaches as well as three publications
- In his first season with the program, Bradley helped the Jags have one of their best offensive seasons as he set new single-season program standards for pass attempts (427), completions (276), passing yards (3,343), touchdown passes (28), total yards (3,393), wins by a quarterback (10) and touchdowns responsible for (30)
- Bradley passed for 250 or more yards seven different times on the season, including 300 or more three times, and became the first South Alabama quarterback to throw for over 400 yards in a game, setting a new single-game mark with 420 yards versus ULM
- Trotter has also seen extensive action at the position during his South Alabama career as he ranks third in career completions (309), yards passing (3,477) and touchdown passes (24)
- There are also a pair of talented newcomers waiting in the wings at the position in red-shirt freshman
