MOBILE, Ala. – Former South Alabama midfielder
Nour Imane Addi has signed two-year professional contract with Celtic FC Women, the club announced Wednesday.

Addi, a native of Oued Zem, Morocco, totaled 15 goals and five assists for the Jags in two seasons, leading the team in game-winning goals in the 2022 season with six.

The senior finished the season tied for first in the Sun Belt Conference for game-winning goals (6) and tied for second in goals (9) and total points (22). Addi was also named a Sun Belt Conference first-team selection, after finishing the regular season with eight goals.

The Moroccan native becomes the first ever African to play for the women's team at Celtic. Addi arrives in Glasgow, Scotland with previous international experience, as she played for the Moroccan National Team in 2017.
