QUOTED:
Head Coach Chris Hennessey:
  • "We found a way to win today. It was important, and it keeps us alive going into Wednesday. Now it's just recover, play, recover, play. We needed it. They've had great attitudes and great energy these past seven days. Hopefully this might be a turning point, and we can find that gut and that desire in front of goal."
Makena Zukeran, Midfielder/Forward:
  • "We've definitely had a rough patch, but I think adversity is helping our team. We are coming closer together, and we have been working really hard, so we got the result that we have been working hard for."
Andrea Iljkic, Forward:
  • "[This win] is huge [for our confidence. This is where we build on the last game, build on the last moment, build on the last pass. Whatever it is, we just need to keep building on that, and I think this was a huge motivator for us going into the next two games."

UP NEXT:
The Jags will host Georgia Southern for their home finale at 2 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at The Cage in Mobile, Ala.
