Rawlinson selected for Women’s Coaching Development Seminar

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Women's Basketball Director of Operations Maiya Rawlinson has been invited to attend the inaugural Women's Coaching Development Seminar – a three-day coaching event during 2023 NBA Summer League.
 
The event will be held in in Las Vegas from July 11-13 and will focus on enhancing opportunities for rising coaches who are interested in learning from and connecting with NBA, G League and WNBA coaches and executives.
 
Some of the event highlights include fireside chats with NBA, WNBA and G League personnel, networking sessions, opportunities to attend NBA practices and Summer League games, and professional development sessions.
 
Rawlinson, who was named the program's director of operations on May 17, arrived in Mobile after spending last season as the Director of Operations for women's basketball at Holy Cross. Rawlinson is a graduate of Rowan University and has a Master's of Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University.
