MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama will continue its road trip this weekend when the Jags head to Hattiesburg, Miss., for a three-game Sun Belt Conference series versus Southern Miss at the USM Softball Complex.

South Alabama (32-13, 14-4 SBC) currently sits in third place in the league standings with two weeks remaining in the regular season. Southern Miss is 20-19 overall and 4-13 in the SBC, a half-game ahead of ULM in 10th place in the league standings.

First pitch of game one is set for Friday at 5 p.m., with games two and three scheduled for Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (noon).

•    Lackie is tied for the NCAA lead with 11 shutouts this spring, while ranking among the national leaders in wins (t19th), strikeouts (t21st) and ERA (21st)
•    Jenna Hardy is 16 strikeouts from reaching the 300-strikeout plateau
•    As a staff, USA has a 1.62 ERA and is holding opponents to a .202 batting average, ranking second and third, respectively in the SBC in those categories, while the Jags are fourth in the conference in strikeouts (298)
•    South is tied with Stanford and McNeese State for eighth in the NCAA in shutouts (17), ninth in ERA, 15th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.55) and 22nd in strikeouts
