MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama Track and Field program has announced its 2023-24 schedule, which consists of three indoor regular season meets, ten outdoor regular season meets, and two competitions hosted by the Jaguars. 

The Jaguars will open their season at the Purple Tiger Invite hosted by LSU on Friday, Jan.12. South Alabama will be in Birmingham, Alabama for the final three competitions of the indoor season as they head to the Samford Invitational on Jan. 18-19 prior to hosting the South Alabama Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex on Sun, Feb.4. 

The Jags will be back in Birmingham to wrap up its Indoor season at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Feb.19-20 before the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Mar 8-9 in Boston, Mass.

They pick things back up in the outdoor season at home in the South Alabama Invitational on March 15-16. 

The following weekend, the Jaguars will head down the road to compete in the Battle on the Bayou hosted by LSU on Saturday, March 23, before a weekend of split competition at the Raleigh Relays and the 96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on March 28-30. 

South Alabama returns to in-state action the next two weekends, competing in Alabama's Crimson Classic on April 5-6 and the Trojan Invitational hosted by Troy on April 12-13. 

The Jags will embark on a busy final two weekends of the outdoor season. They will send athletes to the Mount Sac Relays, Long Beach Invitational, and the Tiger Track Classic on April 17-20 before closing the outdoor regular season at the Southern Mississippi Open on April 26-27. 

ULM will host the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field finals on May 9-11. The NCAA Track and Field South Preliminaries will be held in Lexington, KY on May 22-25.
