NEW ORLEANS – Following a two goal, two assist weekend, sophomore forward
Chiara Singarella has been named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Singarella, a native of Mendoza, Argentina, played a hand in all three goals scored in a 3-1 win over App State on Thursday night. Singarella started the night by assisting the equalizer, passing the ball to
Gabby Hollar who found the back of the net in the 67
th minute. Singarella then broke the tie in the 77
th minute with a goal of her own, before adding a second goal in the 85
th minute to secure the 3-1 win.

Singarella closed the weekend with another point, assisting a
Gabby Hollar goal in a 1-0 win over Troy on Sunday afternoon.

Singarella has seven goals on the year and leads the Jaguar squad with six assists. Singarella also leads the conference in assists and assists per game (.50). Â
