MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer is set to compete against ULM and Arkansas State this weekend. The Jags face ULM in a road match tomorrow at 7 p.m. in Monroe, La., and will return to Mobile on Sunday (10/5) at 1 p.m. to face Arkansas State at The Cage.

SCOUTING THE JAGS (7-3, 3-0):

• The Jags head into the weekend after a 0-1 PK loss to Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. Sierra Giorgio had one save for the day and is third in the Sun Belt in GAA (.846).
• South Alabama ranks first in the conference in goal differential (15) and shutout percentage (.500).
• Andrea Iljkic continues to lead the team offensively with five goals and 12 points.
• Aliya Gomes has recorded the most points in the Sun Belt in conference play (6).
• Sofia Ferrante is second in the SBC in assists per game (.56).

MATCH 11: ULM (7-2-2, 2-0-2)

• SERIES HISTORY: The Jags are 19-1-1 overall against the Warhawks, their last match resulting in a 3-1 win at The Cage on Oct. 27, 2024.
• SCOUTING THE WARHAWKS: ULM heads into the match standing in third place in the Sun Belt after a 0-0 draw with Coastal Carolina on Friday. The Warhawks rank first in the conference in corner kicks per game (6) and second in shot accuracy (.529). Skylar Blaise leads their attack with six goals for the season, three of them being game-winners.

MATCH 12: ARKANSAS STATE (2-3-4, 0-2-2)

• SERIES HISTORY: The Jags are 9-5-3 overall against the Red Wolves, their last match resulting in a 1-0 win in Jonesboro, Ark., on Sept. 20, 2024.
• SCOUTING THE RED WOLVES: A-State heads into the weekend after a road loss to Marshall on Saturday (0-3). Before they travel to The Cage, the Red Wolves will face Texas State in a home match tomorrow. Kennedy Hill leads their offense, ranking first in the Sun Belt in total goals (7), points per game (1.78) and goals per game (.78)
