MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama looks to bounce back after a loss at Mississippi State, hosting Furman on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
South Alabama is coming off a 3-1 weekend, with two 7-0 wins over West Alabama, a 4-0 win over East Tennessee State and a 7-0 loss against Mississippi State.
Sébastien Collard, who is ranked #123 in singles, went 2-1 in singles over the weekend, and four doubles.
Martin Bugaj was perfect in singles over the weekend, going 3-0 at number four.
The doubles duo of Collard and
Maxime St-Hilaire went 2-0 over the weekend, with a win at number one and number two.
Furman is 0-2 on the season, dropping matches at Georgia Tech and Clemson. The Jaguars and the Paladins are meeting for the fifth time, with South leading the series 4-1.
All home tennis matches will be at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts and admission is free.
