- The loss snapped a three-match losing streak for South Alabama
- Adam Bouyacoub secured the only point of the day for the Jaguars. He is on a two-match winning streak

QUOTABLE
"Good battle, but overall, we need to have a better start. They came out of the gates really aggressive in doubles, and at two and three we were really surprised. In singles, we had a hard time adjusting. It took some guys an entire set to find their groove. I think we dug ourselves into a hole that was just too big to get out of."
