QUOTABLE
Head Coach Terry Fowler:
"I was really pleased with how we came out to start the ball game. We had a really good first quarter, down one. In the second quarter they started creating some separation from us. We just put them to the free throw line too much. They had 17 free throw attempts in the first half, and they made 11 of them, pretty much the difference in the halftime score because they were up 11. They were able to make tough shots late in the shot clock, and then we went through a drought, but we were still able to compete in each quarter. Pleased with how our kids fought and never gave up and just kept competing. We're not seeing it in the results, but as a coaching staff we are seeing growth individually and collectively, we've just gotta keep going as we head to Coastal, a tough travel. We haven't played well on Saturdays and our talk in the locker room was about going over and having a really good showing on Saturday and try to get our first conference win."
