QUOTABLE
Head Coach Richard Moodie
On the match: "We've been chopping at the door all year. There's been games where we struggled to create. Tonight, the shot count is not something that will blow you out of the water but something we talked about as a team was being selective in the final third and really trying to execute. Troy worked hard, they looked a little tired in the second and I thought we did a good job rotating players. Everyone that came into the game had a massive impact. We had five different scorers tonight and that's a good thing to see."
On another clean sheet for the team: "Defensively we looked great. Gabby Gayle had an outstanding game, Jaidy Gutierrez, I think the third in the country in clean sheets. It's important and positive to see. Rob [Ward] does a great job with them defensively. Even with the clock going down to five minutes, they are screaming at each other to not concede the goal. Amazing performance from the team front to back, couldn't be prouder."
Junior forward Sydney Ham
On her first goal of the season: "
Nour Imane Addi played me a through ball and I just saw the keeper's legs open so I megged her and it was awesome. I needed that and the team needed that, it was an awesome night for us."
On how big the result is moving forward: "It's gonna be great for the team. We've been struggling with scoring so this game is a good step forward for us."
