LAFAYETTE, La. – The University of South Alabama track & field team is set to begin its postseason at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Thursday at the Home Bank Soccer and Track Facility.

- Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Little Rock, Louisiana, South Alabama, Texas State, Troy, ULM, UTA

NOTES
- Five Jaguars: Kirami Yego (5,000m), Kiara Risher (high jump), Kyle Rademeyer (pole vault), Christian Ellis (triple jump); and Francois Prinsloo (discus) currently lead the Sun Belt Conference in their respective events.
- Rademeyer will defend his Sun Belt pole vault championship at the meet this year. He earned the title last year with a 5.40m mark.
- Ellis claimed the conference triple jump crown last year after recording a 15.50m mark in the event. 
- Prinsloo won the discus at last year's conference championship with a mark of 55.63m. 
- At last year's edition of the conference championship; the Jaguar men's and women's teams each took the runner-up spot behind Arkansas State.
- The championship meet is taking place in Lafayette, La., for the first time since 2016; when the Jag's women's team took home the conference title.
