MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama track and field's Dorian Curry earned a victory and broke the program high jump record at the UAB Green and Gold Invite while a team of Jaguar throwers finished at the Triton Invitational Saturday.
The day was highlighted by Dorian Curry's 2.17m high jump mark that set a new program record. Overall, the Jags took 4 wins and 13 top-five finishes while 12 personal records fell.

- Francois Prinsloo placed fifth in the discus invitational with a 62.84m mark.Â
- Colette Uys took fifth in the shot put with a mark of 14.74m.Â
- Sebastian Loschner placed fourth in the discus open with a 53.40m mark.Â

MEN'S/WOMEN'S FIELD NOTES
- Viktor Turek broke his personal record in the discus (51.47m) while earning second place. He now holds the seventh-highest mark in program history.Â
- Lucy Raynor took fourth in the discus with a mark of 41.81m.
- In the high jump, Curry (2.17m) took the victory while setting a new school and facility record and Kobe Cox (1.98m) finished in the runner-up spot. Â
- On the women's side of the high jump, Kiara Risher earned a victory with a 1.71m mark.
- In the pole vault, Riley Caudill (3.86m) and Alexis Gratia (3.71m) finished third and fourth, respectively, while tying their personal records. Â
- In the shot put, Dimitrios Manesiotis (14.98m) finished in the runner-up spot while Phillip Douglas III (13.97m) took fourth while setting a PR.Â
- Christian Ellis claimed his third victory of the season in the triple jump (14.90m) while setting a facility record.
MEN'S/WOMEN'S RUNNING NOTES
- Kendal White finished second in the 100m after clocking a time of 10.61.Â
- On the women's side of the 100m, Kaitlyn Knight (12.20) recorded a personal-best time and placed fourth.Â
- Josie Pry took fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.50.Â
- White established a personal best (21.94) in the 200m and finished in fourth place.Â
- Cierra Hedrick took the runner-up spot in the 200m with a time of 24.47.
- Ariana Ruffin placed fifth in the 400m after crossing the finish line in 59.09.Â
- On the men's side of the 400m, Jalen Boyd earned a victory with a time of 49.25.
- Rachel Hunter finished the 400m hurdles in 1:04.38 and placed fourth.Â
- Shay Lee took fifth place in the 800m after recording a time of 2:18.55.
- Lance Cuningan established a PR (15:21.96) in his second-place 5000m finish. Charlie Slaughter also established a personal best while placing fourth (15:29.69)
- The 4x100m relay team of Grace Wolf, Hedrick, Risher and Ruffin took second place with a time of 47.18.
- The 4x400m relay team of Hunter, Pry, Ruffin and Wolf notched a second-place finish after completing the race in 3:59.20.
