Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On JoJo Booker:
"I went to him (Booker) after the top of the fourth and told him sooner or later he had to grab ahold of this game, and if he did that then we were going to win it; and he responded and was really good. He got us through seven (innings) and was outstanding. That's what a veteran does, he went out there and grabbed ahold of the game and took us deep into the ballgame."
RHP JoJo Booker
- On his performance:
"Coach Calvi came to me in the fourth inning and told me to take the game over at some point, and I kind of took that personal. I knew if I went out there and did my job that we would end up scoring some runs and win the game. All I wanted to do was go out there and put up zeros. My fastball came along in the fifth inning, and that helped with the slider."
