BOONE, N.C. - Friday's series opener between the University of South Alabama softball team and Appalachian State has been suspended due to field conditions. 

Game one will resume Saturday at 12 pm (ET) with Game 2 of the series to follow.

South Alabama currently leads 2-0 with 1 out in the top of the first. @KamdynKvistad is at the plate with a 1-0 count when we resume.
