Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On Matt Boswell:
"Boz (Matt Boswell) was outstanding; he was really good with Miles (Smith) being out this week. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. He pounded that fastball and attacked the zone. I can't say enough good things, and (Eric) Lin was really good behind him."

- On the offense:
"Our game plan was lay off the edges, and look for pitches in that 10 inches in the middle of the plate. Our guys did a really good job. We had men on (base), and Turner with a (two-run) double and Landon Jordan comes up with a multi-run home run. I thought our guys, especially the top-part of the order did a great job of grinding through at-bats."
