Head Coach Mark Calvi

- On the weekend:
"We left 28 runners on base in three games this weekend. We were too intermittent, and Georgia Southern was constant for three games. We have to do a better job of hitting, pitching, coaching and playing defense. We have been good this year with runners in scoring position, but this weekend we were not. Right now Texas State and Georgia Southern are the gold standard in the league this year. The standard we have set here as a program was not what we played to this weekend. The good thing is we can still accomplish what we set out to do. That took a little setback this weekend, but it is still right there in front of us. It is going to take some work, but there is still opportunity to get that done. We have to take advantage of those opportunities the rest of the way when they present themselves, but our guys are up to the challenge. I still have all the faith in the world in them, and I know we will continue to work to get it done."
