Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the loss:
"JoJo went six innings and allowed three runs; I would have signed up for that at the start of the day. Our guys played hard, we just left a few too many (on base). You have to credit Louisiana's pitching staff. We had some opportunities. It's not like we were paralyzed offensively all game. We had some opportunities, and our guys battled like crazy. We just didn't get that big knock when we had some guys out there. We worked hard to get on base. Sometimes you can get three hits and win or nine hits and lose. It was a great college baseball series, the only thing I am disappointed in is the results. Our guys bounced back (from Friday's loss), and I am super proud of their effort last night. I'm proud of their effort all weekend. We could be leaving here 2-1 (for the series), but we're leaving here 1-2. I can't say enough good things about our guys' effort. There were a couple of instances where we didn't execute like we wanted to, but our guys have been really good all year long and we have executed in those moments a lot up to this point. We have to get a few guys healthy, and just have to keep playing hard."
