Assistant Coach Alan Luckie
- On the loss:
"There was no problem with the energy or the effort. Every one of our pitchers tonight did a good job to keep us in the game. We had a ball we lost in the lights, and had a bad-hop double that started off the bottom of the ninth. We just got a couple of bad breaks, but defense played well and the pitching was very good; we just didn't score enough runs offensively when we had chances to knock them in. I'm very proud of the guys and their effort and energy. We haven't gotten any breaks in the last week-and-a-half, but they're coming and this team is plenty good enough."Â Â Â
