RALEIGH, N.C. – The University of South Alabama track and field teams competed in split meets, the Raleigh and Texas Relays, on Thursday.
Kirami Yego (14:00.77) finished 28th out of a field of 223 runners in the 5000m race at the Raleigh Relays. Sebastian Reyneke picked up two top-10 finishes (discus/pole vault) on his way to scoring 5,829 points in the decathlon at the Texas Relays. Four Jaguars: Colette Uys (shot put), Bodine Degli-Umberti (shot put), Sebastian Loschner (discus) and Francois Prinsloo (discus) are slated to represent the Jags tomorrow in Austin.
