THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On today's performance:
"I'm very happy with today. We had new pairs in doubles, so we had to make a quick adjustment. Our guys had to be loud on the court. We knew we had to get the momentum against those guys. They are a good team and had a good battle yesterday against Southern Miss. We knew we had to go out there and take care of business. I think we did a great job at number three in doubles. Those guys had never played with each other and played great. They were loud, intense and didn't take their foot off the gas. In singles, we just kept going with the momentum. Martin [Bugaj] did a great job today in doubles and singles. Overall, it was a good fight. We had a long week. We played a match on Wednesday, Friday and then today. The guys didn't complain about any fatigue. I'm proud of them."
- On the progress of the team:
"Our freshman, the more they play, the better they get. Max [St-Hilaire] is turning into a veteran. He's fighting every single match and I believe he's undefeated this season. Javier [Montoya] is back there is also playing better and Juan [Accossatto] won today. The freshmen are progressing very well."
