MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama returns home to The Cage on Thursday to host ULM, before hitting the road to Virginia to take on James Madison on Sunday.
The Jags lead the series 17-1 over ULM, with the only loss coming last season in Monroe. South has never lost to ULM in Mobile.
South and James Madison will be meeting for the first time this Sunday.
South Alabama (6-1-5) battled Old Dominion to a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
ULM (9-2-2) tied Marshall 0-0 last Saturday, while James Madison defeated Appalachian State 1-0 Friday night.
The Jags are playing without freshmen
Gabriela Angulo and
Hilary Jaen, as they got called up to their respective national teams on Monday.
South currently has a +16 goal differential, scoring 24 goals and allowing just eight. The Jags have allowed multiple goals just twice this season - loss at TAMU and tie at ODU.
After this weekend, South will return to The Cage and host Southern Miss on Sunday, Oct. 16.
