MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama nears the end of the regular season, hitting the road to Texas State on Thursday, before returning home for the home finale at The Cage against Coastal Carolina at noon.
 
The Jags lead the series with both Texas State (7-1-2) and Coastal Carolina (7-2). The Jags are 3-0 in San Marcos and 2-2 against Coastal Carolina at The Cage.
 
The Jags are coming off a dominant weekend performance, beating Southern Miss 8-1. The Jags remain undefeated in conference play and at home.  
 
Texas State and South Alabama are battling for the top of the west division of the Sun Belt, with Texas State leading with 16 conference points, with South close behind with 15.
 
Texas State is 11-2-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the Sun Belt and Coastal Carolina is 2-9-3 on the season and 1-5-1 in conference play.
 
Sunday's match will be senior day and the Jags will honor six seniors – Morgan Cross, Danielle Fuentes, Nour Imane Addi, Gabrielle Gayle, Carly Williams and Laurence Saviana.
