MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama continues the second half of Sun Belt Conference play this weekend, hosting Southern Miss Sunday at 1 p.m. at The Cage. Sunday's match will be the first time the teams are meeting as conference opponents.
The Jags lead the series with the Golden Eagles 10-6 and a 6-4 in Mobile against them. Southern Miss has not won in Mobile since 2008 but the Jags are currently on a two-game losing streak against the Golden Eagles.

Hilary Jaen return to the team this week after missing the last two matches due to international duty. Before last week, Angulo started all 11 of her appearances for the Jags and was a key factor in the Jaguar back line.
South (7-1-6, 3-0-3) has yet to lose in conference play, nor have they lost at home this season. The Jags have only allowed two goals in home matches this year.
The Jaguars are coming off a 1-0-1 weekend, with a 4-1 win over ULM and a 0-0 draw at Sun Belt newcomer James Madison. Southern Miss dropped their match 4-1 against Coastal Carolina last Thursday and battled Troy to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Sunday's match is the annual Think Pink game will include a pink rally towel giveaway (while supplies last), a performance from the Jaguar Marching Band and a moment of silence, followed by a halftime presentation honoring all who have been affected by breast cancer.
