THEY SAID IT
Head coach Richard Moodie
- On Appalachian State: "We're excited about the weekend we just had, we were able to score goals and create chances while holding the opposition to no corner kicks, limited shots and no goals. I think now the biggest thing is can we take what we've done at home on the road. Appalachian State is never an easy place to go, it's one of the longest trips on the schedule. To play it on a Thursday night puts a hefty physical demand on the student-athletes."

- On the defensive performance: "We've got to have a fighting mentality when we play. We have to figure out how to keep the ball out of the back of the net. We did a great job this past weekend, not once did I feel that we were going to concede a goal. We held our own and looked solid defensively."
