THEY SAID IT
Head coach Richard Moodie
- On Mississippi State: "Mississippi State is a great team. The match is going to be a true challenge. It's another opportunity to see where we're at as a team. It's the last match that we have to see where we are and to adjust things. All of this is preparation for August 20."

- On the newcomers' performance: "The student-athletes that played did well. I'm proud of their performance so far. I think there's more positives to build on than any other exhibition match I've coached."

- On the leadership: "We've got two captains but we also consider Deanna Green as a leader and influencer on the team. Every returner has that same ownership of their role on the team. Our captains have done an exceptional job; they've passed the fitness tests, they work hard every day and they act as an extension of the coaching staff. The returners all try to hold each other accountable and grow the team more. I feel like we're in a good place with the leaders."

- On being back at The Cage: "Coming home is massive and we want everyone to come out and see us. We do a lot of work in the community for the very reason that they are the ones who come out and support us. We value that support and it means a lot to the team."
