EUGENE, Ore.
– The University of South Alabama's redshirt freshman Francois Prinsloo capped off his track and field season by receiving the Second-Team All-American title at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championship Friday evening at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Prinsloo earned his first All-American title after throwing a 56.22m mark in the discus throw on his last attempt in the event. The Worcester, South Africa, native had the 11th best throw out of 24 student-athletes and was one of two from the Sun Belt to compete in the event.
