EUGENE, Ore. – The University of South Alabama's freshman Kyle Rademeyer concluded his track and field season after earning Second-Team All-American honors at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championship Wednesday evening at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Rademeyer recorded a 5.30m height on the second of three attempts in the pole vault after finishing 11th out of 23 athletes in the event.

- On Rademeyer's performance: "Kyle [Rademeyer] just barely missed the first-team All-American honors. The conditions weren't ideal as it was raining, but he overcame adversity and performed like a true athlete. To be able to perform in such a way as a freshman makes us proud, and we are going to see a lot more from him in the future."
