THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu

- On today's performance: "You can tell why Florida is one of the top teams in the country. They played big on big points, and I think that was the difference today. It was basically us against more than 200 Florida fans, so I thought we did well. Overall, I'm impressed that we didn't get intimidated. We went head to head with them, and it was great tennis."

- On doubles: "We were competitive, but in the beginning, we were not as expressive and relaxed on the courts as we usually are. We got down on all three courts on a deuce point. That was a little frustrating, but I didn't see the team panic, and they went back to work. After doubles, everyone settled a little better going into singles."

- On singles: "We were more completive going into singles. We fought really well not only as individuals but as a team. We were loud and not afraid of expressing ourselves and playing big. Some scores were pretty big in Florida's favor. For example, Julien [Evrard] played five deuce points so, every game was played to the limit. He's a good play and was right there with his opponent, but he just couldn't come up big on the big points, and that was the difference in the first set.

"Seb [Collard], what a match. He was playing a player with a lot of firepower. He was running, played great defense, and he was able to turn it into offense when he had a chance. It would have been great to finish the match at court four because it would've been an exciting third set."

- On the season: "This year was a lot of fun, but the team is heartbroken that the season is over. The team is a family, and they really care about each other. They want to help each other, and they want good things for each other on and off the courts. It's such a great feeling to see that even the three players going to the NCAA's are heartbroken that the season is over. That means a lot as a coach, and it means the team brotherhood will always be there for life."
