NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama track and field programs had 14 student-athletes earn all-conference accolades as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon. The three all-conference teams involved the primary three finishers in each event at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships that were held May 13-15 at the Jaguar Track in Mobile, Ala. Senior Autavia Fluker was declared the Sun Belt's Most Outstanding Field Performer for the second time in her career as she recently procured the honor in 2019.

Fluker was also honored to the Sun Belt First-Team All-Conference after her 68.17m hammer throw victory, automatically qualifying her for the Olympic Trials. The senior collected 18 points for the Jaguars with her hammer throw success and her runner-up shot put finish. She was an awe-inspiring phenomenon this season as she won seven of the eight hammer throw events she entered. The Bessemer, Alabama native broke her Sun Belt and school record in the event on three occasions this season, and she is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation in the hammer throw.

Senior Carolien Millenaar was named to the first-team all-conference after her extraordinary exhibitions in the running events. Millenaar broke the Sun Belt's 3000m steeplechase record in the wake of thundering through the finish line at 10:22.37, scoring 10 of the Jaguars' overall score of 112.50. The Sorvad, Denmark, native was unbelievable in the 5000m as she was victorious in the event with a 17:00.73 time, more than 25 seconds faster than first-runner up, Lauren Locke of Troy.

Bound for greatness, senior Rickssen Opont obtained the SBC shot put title after throwing a 17.74m mark on his first attempt. His shot put performance earned him a spot to the first-time all-conference. Opont set a new Jaguar shot put record at Auburn's Tiger Track Classic with the meet's best mark of 18.84m on March 20.

Redshirt junior Christian Ellis was voted to the first-team all-conference award after earning his second consecutive Sun Belt triple jump title with a 15.50m leap. Ellis currently holds the best triple jump leap in school history with a mark of 15.75m.

Redshirt freshman Francois Prinsloo launched a 55.63m throw in the discus to claim the first-team conference award. Prinsloo ranks second in the same event after throwing a personal-best mark of 60.17m at the Southeastern-Conference Tune-Up on May 1.

Freshman Kyle Rademeyer had the best jump in the pole vault with a height of 5.31m to be honored to the first-team all-conference accolades. Rademeyer ranks second in the school record books after jumping 5.40m at the Texas Relays on March 27.

Redshirt junior Hanna-Mai Vaikla acquired second-team all-conference after placing second in the heptathlon with 5,441 points. She recorded top-three finishes in all but one of the five heptathlon events, featured by her victory in the javelin throw with a mark of 41.45m. Her score currently ranks second on the conference's all-time list.

Sophomore David Dolan and freshman Sebastian Loschner were selected to the second-team all-conference after their notable performances at the conference championships.

Sophomore Dolan's 5.11m jump in the pole vault was good enough for a second-place finish. Earlier this season, Dolan moved to third on South's pole vault records with a PR of 5.30m at the Southern Miss Invitational on April 3.

Freshman Loschner claimed second place in the shot put after throwing a career-best mark of 17.05m, with his distance being the third-best throw in USA history.

Senior Emilie Berge and freshman Colette Uys received third-team all-conference acknowledgment in their respective events at the conference championship.

Senior Berge jumped to third place in the high jump with a 1.75m height and currently ranks third in the event on the Jags' all-time records list with a 1.79m mark at the 2019 South Alabama Invitational on March 23.

Freshman Uys threw a 50.44m mark in the discus throw for a third-place finish at the conference championships and is third-best in Jaguar history with a 50.47m distance at the Texas Relays.

Redshirt sophomore Graham Collins and juniors Noah Mumme and Xavier Rogers were named to the third-team all-conference after their remarkable performances last weekend.

After collecting 6,369 points, Collins finished third in the decathlon after earning top-five finishes in eight of the 10 decathlon events.

Junior Mumme tied for third with Texas State and Louisiana after recording a 5.01m height in the pole vault.
