TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of South Alabama outdoor track & field teams will compete in the Crimson Tide Invitational Thursday through Saturday at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Competition begins at noon Thursday with the men's 100m dash in the decathlon, while the women's heptathlon starts at 12:30 p.m. with the 100m hurdles.Â

NOTES
- Freshman Ariel Atias, sophomore Rocio Chaparro, redshirt sophomore Brylan Shirley and redshirt junior Hanna-Mai Vaikla will compete in the multis events of the Crimson Tide Invitational.
- Vaikla currently ranks sixth on USA's all-time performance list in the heptathlon with an overall score of 5,307 points.
- Freshman Bodine Degli-Umberti broke the school record in the discus throw after throwing a career-best mark of 51.19m at the USA Invitational on March 12. She also placed third in the shot put (15.59m) at the same meet.
- Junior Silje Lindstad placed third in the 1500m with the time of 4:33.21 at the USA Invitational, with her being the fifth-fastest in Jaguar history.
- Junior Onesmus Kemboi won the 1500m (3:59.21) at the Tiger Track Classic on March 19-20. He also placed second in the same event (3:58.06) at the Southern Miss Invitational last weekend.
- Senior Rickssen Opont earned a victory in the shot put with an 18.84m distance at the Tiger Track Classic. He also recorded personal bests in the discus throw (50.53m) and hammer throw (58.81m) at the same meet.
- Senior Carolien Millenaar won the 3000m steeplechase after crossing the line with her career-best time of 10:26.13 at the Texas Relays on March 25-27, with her time being the fastest in school history.
- Senior Autavia Fluker also broke her conference and school records in the hammer throw with a 66.90m for a first-place finish at the same meet.
- Freshman Sebastian Loschner claimed first place in the shot put after a lifetime best mark of 16.40m at the Southern Miss Invitational. He also finished second in the discus throw with a 47.07m distance at the same meet.
- Freshman Dimitrios Manesiotis recorded personal bests in the hammer throw (50.65m) and discus throw (34.59m) while also claiming third in the shot put (14.75m) at the Southern Miss Invitational.
- Redshirt freshman Francois Prinsloo took the top spot in the discus throw with a 55.25m distance last weekend. He also posted a career-best in the hammer throw with a 53.24m mark at the same meet.
- Freshman Stefanie Dadayeva claimed a victory in the pole vault (3.65m), while freshman Savannah Morgan took second in the same event with a 3.20m height at the Southern Miss Invitational.
- Junior Hunter Appling won the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.22s at the same meet.
- Freshman Kiara Risher finished second in the high jump with a 1.68m height and was the last leg in the 4x100 medley relay team that came in second after crossing the line at 47.21s at the same meet.
- Freshman Isabella Baker established a personal best in the pole vault with 5.30m height at the Blazer Invite on Jan. 15.
