BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of South Alabama outdoor track & field teams will compete at LSU's Boots Garland Invitational on Saturday at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the women's discus throw, while the running events are set to start at 1:30 p.m. with the women's 4 x 100 medley relay.

- Senior Autavia Fluker was named this week's Women's Field Athlete of the Week after earning her fifth consecutive victory in the hammer throw (66.78m) at the Crimson Tide Invitational last weekend. She is still the best hammer thrower in the league.
- Freshman Dorian Curry broke the school record in the high jump at the same meet.
- Redshirt junior Hanna-Mai ranks third on USA's all-time performance list in the heptathlon with an overall score of 5,411.
- Freshman Kyle Rademeyer earned a victory in the pole vault (5.30m) at the Southern Miss Invitational on April 3, with his mark being the third-highest in school history.
- Senior Cierra Hedrick's 11.74s time in the 100m is the third-fastest on South's record list.
- Freshman Sebastian Loschner claimed his first victory in the shot put with a 16.40m mark at the same meet.
- Freshman Bodine Degli-Umberti recorded personal bests in the shot put (15.59m) and discus throw (51.19m) at the USA Invitational on March 12.
- The Jaguars will be sending 41 student-athletes to compete at the meet.
