– In compliance with CDC and state public health guidance, seating in Jaguar Field is socially-distanced resulting in approximately 25 percent seating capacity this spring.
– Current season tickets holders and home and visitor pass lists are the only fans allowed admittance during the season.
– Face coverings will be required for entry and at all times, except when actively eating and drinking.
– All concession stand transactions are cashless.
– As a reminder, the first row of seats behind home plate, as well as the outfield deck areas are closed to the public for the 2021 season.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARSÂ Â Â
– South Alabama (21-12, 9-4 SBC) enters the UTA series after picking up a three-game sweep over then-18th-ranked Texas State last weekend.
– All three games were decided by three runs or less with the Jaguars taking the series finale, 7-4.
– Abby Krzywiecki and Kamdyn Kvistad led a five-run third on Sunday, hitting two-run and three-run home runs, respectively in the inning.
– Meredith Keel leads the team with a .365 average, which is tied for ninth in the league, while her 35 hits are tied for eighth-most. She also has seven sacrifice hits, which are tied for the league lead, and is 4-for-5 in her stolen base attempts.
– The Ashville, Ohio, native has been even better in Sun Belt play as she holds a .419 batting average through 13 conference games.
– Mackenzie Brasher (.364) is right behind Keel after going 6-for-9 in the series against the Bobcats. She has 32 hits on the spring and has been successful in five of her six stolen base attempts.
– Krzywiecki is third on the club with a .323 batting average to go along with four doubles, four home runs and 18 RBI, which rank as third-most on the team. Her .569 slugging percentage is also second highest on the Jaguar roster.
– Junior outfielder Caroline Nichols (.323) leads the team in stolen bases with nine – tied for 10th in the Sun Belt. Brasher (17) and Nichols (16) are tops on the club in runs scored as they have combined to cross the plate 33 times.
– Kvistad leads the team in extra-base hits (14), home runs (7) and holds a .628 slugging percentage. Her seven home runs are tied with seven other players for fourth-most in the league. The Lake City, Fla., native has also driven in 21 runs.
– Junior infielder Kennedy Cronan has driven in a team-best 22 runs. She is tied for fourth in the conference in doubles with 11, which also ranks 18th nationally and fourth in the league in that category.
– As a team, South Alabama ranks 25th nationally in doubles (49) and 50th in doubles per game (1.48).
– Freshman pitcher Olivia Lackie continues to pace the club as she is 12-6 with three saves this spring. In her 117.0 innings of work, Lackie holds a 1.85 earned run average with 156 strikeouts.
– She has tossed nine complete games, including five shutouts, while holding opponents to a .177 batting average.
– Coming into the weekend series, she leads the Sun Belt in innings pitched and saves, while ranking second in strikeouts, third in ERA, opposing batting average and strikeouts looking (38), and fifth in wins.
– The Walker, La., native is 13th nationally in strikeouts and shutouts.
– On Tuesday, Lackie was named the Sun Belt's pitcher of the week for the fourth time this season. She tossed 10 scoreless innings and held the Bobcats – who entered the weekend as one of the top offenses in the conference – to just five hits (.172 average), while striking out 10 in the series.
– Allie Hughen is sixth in the league in ERA (2.09) and opponent batting average (.209), and eighth in innings pitched (73.2).
THE SERIES VS. UTAÂ Â Â
– South Alabama and UTA have met 19 previous times in the all-time series.
– The Jaguars are 13-6 overall in the series and hold an 8-0 record on their home field.
– UTA swept South Alabama in Arlington last spring to open up Sun Belt Conference play.
– South holds five shutouts in the series, while the Jags have yet to be held scoreless in any of the 19 series meetings.
– The two teams first met on March 22, 2014 with South Alabama winning a pair of run-rule decisions.
– The Jaguars won the first nine meetings in the series, but the Mavericks have taken four of the last six series contests.
