AUSTIN, Texas – The University of South Alabama men's and women's track programs will be sending nine student-athletes to compete in Texas Relays Thursday through Saturday at the Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field in Austin, Texas.

NOTES
- Senior Rickssen Opont broke the school record in the shot put last weekend at the Tiger Track Classic, with his 18.84m mark claiming first place in the event.
- Senior Autavia Fluker claimed the top spot in the hammer throw with a 64.39m performance at the Tiger Track Classic.Â
- Sophomore David Dolan earned a victory in the pole vault with a lifetime best distance of 5.25m at the USA Invitational. His mark currently ranks third in program history.
- Freshman Kyle Rademeyer's first-place effort in the pole vault (5.20m) at the Jaguar Opener on March 5, ties for fourth on USA's all-time list.
- Redshirt Freshman Francois Prinsloo claimed the top spots in the discus throw at the Jaguar Opener (52.81m) and the USA Invitational (54.03m). He also placed second in the same event (56.16m) at the Tiger Track Classic, with his mark being third-best in school history.
- Redshirt Junior Hanna-Mai Vaikla took first place in the javelin throw with a 44.21m performance at the USA Invitational.
- Junior Noah Mumme placed second in the pole vault (4.95m) at the USA Invitational and claimed third (4.95m) in the same event at the Jaguar Opener and the Tiger Track Classic.
- Senior Carolien Millenaar ran a 16:53.74 race in the 5K for a third-place finish at the Jaguar Opener on March 5. She currently ranks top 10 in four events in school history: 800m, 1500m, 3000m Steeplechase and 5000m.
- Freshman Colette Uys recorded career-bests in the discus throw (49.66m) and the shot put (14.37m) at the USA Invitational. Her discus throw effort is currently South's third-best all-time performance. She also threw a personal best in the hammer throw last weekend with a distance of 52.46m.
- Over 60 teams are set to compete at the Texas Relays this weekend.
