AUBURN, Ala. –   The University of South Alabama men's and women's track programs will send 54 student-athletes to Auburn, Ala, to compete in the Tiger Track Classic on Saturday and Sunday.

The meet begins Saturday at 2 p.m. with the women's hammer throw. Saturday's field events are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. with the women's pole vault, while the running events are set to start at noon with the women's 4 x 100m.

NOTES
- Autavia Fluker set a high standard in the hammer throw (66.11m) at the USA Invitational Sat., March 12, with her first-place mark being the top in the league and the best in school history.
- Bodine Degli-Umberti broke the school record in the discus throw last weekend after placing second (51.19) in the event. Colette Uys claimed third in the same event (49.66m), with her mark being third-best in Jaguar history.
- David Dolan's first-place finish in the pole vault (5.25m) at the USA Invitational ranks third on South's all-time performance list.
- Francois Prinsloo won the discus throw with a 54.03m distance at the same meet, with his mark ranking fourth on USA's all-time list.
- 36 Jaguar student-athletes are slated to compete on the opening day of the Tiger Track Classic.
