NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference office released the brackets for the upcoming league tournament on Sunday, with the schedule including both the University of South Alabama men's and women's programs playing on the opening day of the event.

The women's team — seeded fourth in the East Division after posting a 9-9 mark in league play — will take on No. 5 seed from the West Arkansas State on Friday at 2 p.m. (CST) at Pensacola State College, with the winner advancing to face the West Division's top seed, Louisiana, the following day.

Seeded third in the East Division with a 10-7 conference record, the men's program is set to face No. 6 West seed ULM at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Pensacola Bay Center.  The winner of the match-up will move on to play Louisiana, the second seed in the West, on Saturday.

Both contests can be seen live on ESPN+.  With regular-season play featuring only games within the division, it will be the first meeting for both programs with their opponents this year.

The championship game for each bracket will be played on Monday, March 8, with the winners receiving the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
