BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –   The University of South Alabama men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the 2021 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship Monday and Tuesday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

THE FIELD (12)

NOTES
- The Jaguars return eight all-conference performers from last year's Sun Belt Indoor Championships: Noah Mumme (first-team pole vault), Carolien Millenaar (second team 5000m and second-team 3000m), Hanna-Mai Vaikla (third-team pentathlon), Silje Lindstad (third-team mile) and the third team women's DMR team consisting of Cierra Hedrick, Shay Lee, Abbey Weitenbeck and Adele Magaud.
- Kyle Rademeyer was named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week last week after recording a 5.53m mark to earn a victory in the pole vault. He also broke the school record in the pole vault and ranks first in the conference in the same event.
- 49 Jaguar student-athletes are slated to compete Monday and Tuesday at the league championship event.  
- Day one of the championships will begin at 9 a.m. with the heptathlon. Field event action is set to begin at 12 p.m. with the men's weight throw while running events are scheduled to begin at 4:35 p.m. with the women's mile run.
