BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Four University of South Alabama track and field student-athletes will travel to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in the multi-discipline portion of the Samford Invite Thursday and Friday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

- Alabama State, Arkansas Little Rock, Chattanooga, Furman, Kennesaw State, Memphis, Mercer, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Western Kentucky

NOTES
- Ariel Atias, a freshman from Haifa, Israel, finished second at the 2019 Tel Aviv meet with a decathlon score of 7,136.
- Rocio Chaparro recorded personal-bests in the 60m hurdles (9.14s) and long jump (5.30m) last weekend at the Blazer Invite. She also recorded a personal-best in the pentathlon at the 2020 Sun Belt Championships with a score of 3, 311.
- Brylan Shirley scored 4, 440 heptathlon points at the 2020 Sun Belt Championships.
- Joey Zayszly, a redshirted freshman, will be making his collegiate debut at the meet in the heptathlon.
