Opening Tip
• The Jaguars look for their first road victory since defeating Georgia Southern in Statesboro on Jan. 18.
• South's current six-game winning streak against the Warhawks is the longest for either program in the all-time series.
• Four of the six contests during the Jags' current streak have been decided by double digits.
• The Jaguars have won the last two match-ups between the schools in Monroe.
• ULM last beat South 67-54 in Monroe on Feb. 25, 2016.

Superb Shooting Effort
Savannah Jones posted a game-high 26 points in the Jaguars' win Thursday over Louisiana, going 8-of-14 from the field and 5-of-5 at the free-throw line to record her best scoring effort of the season; that including making all five attempts from three-point range, highlighted by three in a 65-second stretch at the end of the opening period that gave South an 11-point lead after 10 minutes of action.  It was the third time in the last five outings — and sixth occasion this season — that the redshirt junior has scored 20-plus points as she has now led the team offensively in three of the last four contests.  Jones never paced all players in assists her first 90 games with the program, but she has now turned the trick in each of USA's last two contests after adding a career-best five against the Ragin' Cajuns.

Lewis Extends Scoring Streak
C Antoinette Lewis chipped in with 13 points in 21 minutes last time out, as she has now recorded 10 or more points in nine straight outings — that's the longest current streak on the team.  Dating back to the Jags' last meeting with Louisiana on Jan. 9 — a span that includes eight games — the junior has shot 50 percent or better from the field on seven occasions after converting 3-of-6 attempts on Thursday, while she has connected on 12-of-16 shots at the foul line in the last two contests.

Mallard Means Business Against Cajuns
Freshman Jaylen Mallard posted a new career high in rebounds after recording 10 in the victory over the Ragin' Cajuns, the first time she has reached double digits in the category, while adding seven points and her first assist since joining the program this year.  The forward/center came into play with totals of 10 points and nine boards in USA's first nine Sun Belt contests of the season.

Stepping Up With The Start
Making her first start since the Jags defeated William Carey on Dec. 17, Kennedi Centers supplied seven points, nine rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in Thursday's victory while playing a career-high 34 minutes.  The senior forward matched her previous season-best total on the boards first set in a Jan. 11 victory over ULM, while it marked the first occasion she was credited with multiple helpers since South's final non-conference contest on Dec. 20 at East Tennessee State.

Lending A Helping Hand
Damaya Telemaque matched Jones for game-high honors with five assists after posting a season-best total in the category while also falling just shy of reaching double figures after adding nine points.  The sophomore — who is averaging 8.7 points per game the last three outings — had dished out five assists combined in the Jaguars' previous four contests.

Additional Notes From The Louisiana Game
• The Jags outrebounded the opposition for the first time since a Jan. 16 win at Georgia State, while it marked the first occasion they have finished with a double-figure advantage on the boards since recording a 51-36 edge at East Tennessee State on Dec. 20.
• UL's 17.6 percent mark from three-point range was the lowest against the Jaguars this season.
• It was the fourth contest since the start of league play that South has shot 50 percent or better from beyond the three-point arc — the Jaguars have won each of those games.

Notes From The Last ULM Meeting
• Shaforia Kines led South in scoring for the 10th time this season after posting 17 points.
• Lewis recorded the 700th rebound of her career, while eight of her 15 points came in the final quarter to help the Jaguars rally from a three-point deficit.
• Telemaque's 16 points were the most she has scored this year, and her six rebounds were a season high at the time as well.
• Centers tied a career high in blocks while it was also the first time this season she shared team-high rebounding honors in a game.
• The Jags' 11 blocks were the most they have posted this year.
