Opening Tip
• USA concludes a season-long three-game stretch on the road.
• The Jaguars and Chanticleers have split six meetings since Coastal joined the Sun Belt Conference four years ago.
• The Chants' victory in the team's first match-up this season ended a two-game series win streak for the Jags.
• South's 88-78 win at CCU last season was its first in Conway since the initial meeting between the two programs on Dec. 20, 1995.
• All three contests in the series at Coastal have been decided by a double-digit margin.

Moving On Up
G Shaforia Kines — who has now scored in double digits in four straight games — paced the Jags in points for the 25th time in her career after sharing game-high honors with 19 last time out at Appalachian State.  The senior was 4-of-10 from beyond the three-point arc as she has connected on multiple shots from long range in each of the Jaguars' last three outings, with the effort helping her move up on two different lists in the school's record book; Kines passed Denise Adams (1984-87) to move into 18th place all-time in scoring with 1,160 points in her career while also moving past Stephanie Richardson (1988-91) into third with 176 treys.

Hitting The Mark From Beyond The Arc
After going 5-of-9 from beyond the arc against the Mountaineers, Savannah Jones has made five or more three-pointers in four of USA's last seven outings while shooting 50 percent (25-of-50) during that stretch.  She finished the contest with 19 points, the 64th time in her career that the redshirt junior guard has scored in double figures, while surpassing the 1,200 point plateau with the effort.

Junior Center Cleaning The Glass
Antoinette Lewis once again paced the Jags on the boards, recording 10 rebounds in the App State game.  It was the 20th occasion this season that the junior has led South in rebounding as well as the 35th time in her career she has pulled down 10-plus boards.

Long Distance Connections
USA connected on 10 or more three-pointers for the eighth time this year, accomplishing the feat in both contests against the Mountaineers after going 10-of-25 from long distance last time out.  Four of those eight outings have come in Sun Belt play, although App State was the first league opponent to defeat South when giving up a double-digit total from beyond the arc.

Additional Notes From The App State Game
• Damaya Telemaque tied a career high after blocking a pair of shots, the first time this season she has led all players in the category.
• Senior Kennedi Centers has led the team in steals in three of the last four outings after posting two against the Mountaineers.
• The Jags' eight points in the opening quarter were their fewest since scoring just six in the first period of the season opener against Rutgers on Nov. 5.
• South finished with a season-low rebounding total after collecting 27 boards.
• App State had twice as many points as the Jaguars in the paint, finishing the contest with a 28-14 advantage in the category.

Notes From The Last Coastal Carolina Meeting
• It was the first time this season that Kines scored 20 or more points in consecutive outings.
• Lewis posted the first of seven double-doubles in Sun Belt action this year, and she also moved into the top five on South's all-time blocks list.
• Jones saw a streak of 25 straight games with at least one three-point field goal come to an end.
• It marked the first contest this season that Centers scored in double figures.
• Until Kines' three-pointer with 1:18 left in the contest, the Jags were in danger of not hitting a shot from beyond the arc for the first time since Feb. 3, 2000.
