MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team will continue its fall schedule starting Friday at the Samford Fall Round Robin.

ON THE COURT FOR THE JAGUARS
-Yu Fujioka (Jr., Funabashi, Japan)
-Nikola Kohoutova (Jr., Kralupy Nad Vltavou, Czech Republic)
-Cami Moreno (Jr., Rosario, Sante Fe, Argentina, Argentina)
-Milka Pasanen (Jr., Pieksämäki, Finland)
-Leslie Soto (Sr., Santiago, Chile)
-Yurie Takanishi (So., Haracho, Japan)
-Juliette Talieu (Fr., Villemomble, France)
 
NOTES
-Fujioka will be making her first fall appearance of the season; she was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year last year and holds a 35-2 career dual match record, the best in school history
-The Jaguars went 11-4 in their first fall action two weeks ago at the Thomasville College Invitational
-Kohoutova went a combined 5-0 in singles and doubles at that tournament, and posted a 3-0 doubles record with Moreno
-Talieu will be making her collegiate debut

-On returning to action: "It's another opportunity to get better. The competition is going to be stiff so it's going to test our mental endurance and definitely test our physical endurance in some hot conditions."
-On having most of the team competing: "It's more of a match-play situation, even though we are competing as individuals. We'll get a feel for playing next to each other at the same time and we're keeping track of it. We'll see if we win or come up short and that will be good motivation as we move forward."
-On potentially trying out new doubles pairs: "It's a good opportunity to put people together and see how they jell. Usually these things take a while, but maybe we can sort it out sooner rather than later."
