FORMER JAGS TODD AND BROWN SHINING IN SECOND PROFESSIONAL SEASON

MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama softball alumni Kaleigh Todd and Devin Brown entered their second professional seasons this summer and both are continuing to shine for their respective American Softball Association (ASBA) clubs.

Kaleigh Todd (2015-18) – Moh-Beel USA
Todd – South Alabama's all-time leader in hits and steals – currently ranks fourth in the ASBA with a .426 batting average as she is 20-for-47 at the plate. Her 20 hits also rank fifth amongst the league leaders while she is also fourth in runs scored (13), on-base percentage (.491).

Todd is a perfect 9-for-9 in the stolen base department which is tied with teammate Savannah Horvath for the ASBA lead.

Guided by Todd's production at the plate, Moh-Beel USA currently leads the league in the standings with a 12-4 mark through the first 16 games. Todd played for Moh-Beel USA last summer and was retained by the club and re-selected in the fourth round in the 2019 ASBA Draft as the 13th overall pick.

Devin Brown-Lowe (2015-18) – E1 Pro Ballers
Brown-Lowe, who concluded her career ranked fourth-all-time in Sun Belt Conference history in strikeouts and as the program's career leader in that category, begins her first year of competition with the ASBA this summer. Brown-Lowe has made six appearances in the circle with five starts, and in her 30.1 innings of work, the former Jag has struck out 31 and walked just 10.

She holds a pair of wins and has allowed just 12 earned runs in those outings. Brown-Lowe ranks among the league leaders in earned run average (second), opposing batting average (fourth), strike outs (third), wins (fifth), among other statistical categories.

Brown-Lowe has also contributed at the plate as she is batting .286 with a double and a pair of RBI.

Last summer, Brown-Lowe competed for the Cleveland Comets in the National Pro Fastpitch League. Prior to the start of the 2019 season, Brown-Lowe was the third overall pick in the first round by E1 Pro Ballers (6-10).

The two former Jaguars are looking to earn selections later this month to the Second Annual ASBA All-Star Game slated to be held July 13 at the Pat Hicks Softball Field in Satsuma, Ala., at 7 p.m. Todd earned an all-star nod at second base in her first professional season a year ago.
