Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the loss:
"I want to give (Troy starter) Levi Thomas credit. We had him with the bases loaded two innings in a row, but he made big-time pitches and did a heck of a job. We put him in a jam, and he made pitches to get out of it. That's what good pitchers do, and that's what he did tonight. He did a really good job. It was as much him as it was us in those situations of leaving men on base. I give Troy and Levi Thomas a lot of credit tonight."
- On Chase Lambert:
"He did an outstanding job. All you can ask of your team and pitchers is that you put yourselves in position, and we did that. (Chase) Lambert did a great job; he kept us in striking distance. And our hitters were getting in position to rally and put up a crooked number, and (Levi) Thomas did a nice job pitching out of it."
