Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the doubleheader sweep:
"Doubleheaders are tough. At the time, the rain delay in the first game was painful, but our guys came back with a little different energy and juice. Chase Lambert held it right there and gave us a chance to come back in the ballgame, and (Zach) Greene did his thing at the end and did it again in the second game. We haven't had as many come-from-behind wins that we have had in the past, but we got two of them in a doubleheader today and we needed it. I'm just proud of our guys' effort. They've been through the ringer a little bit, but they are starting to put some games together. We have some guys stepping up who are starting to look a little bit better at the plate, and some guys pitching well. I just like the way we competed; we competed all day long on a long day with some rough weather. All the credit to our guys."
- On Tyler Perez:
"I take my hat off to (Tyler) Perez. He has gotten better and better; he picked us up big time. He worked right through an error and just kept pitching. He really gave us what we needed. And Joel Cheatwood was outstanding coming in behind him (Perez), and then to Zach Greene again."
