MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team eclipsed the school mark of 61 consecutive home wins with their 7-0 victory against Texas State Sunday at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts.

The Jaguars improve to 13-1 while the Bobcats fall to 4-6.

DOUBLES
-The Jags won by default at No. 3
-Patricia Martins and Milka Pasanen put the Jaguars up 1-0 following doubles play after dropping Rishona Lewis and Joy Chia 6-3 on court 1.

SINGLES
-The Jaguars received their first singles point by walkover on court 6.
-Pasanen topped Sofia Marcia 6-0, 6-1 on No. 4 for a 3-0 lead.
-Nikola Kohoutova clinched the match when she defeated Chia 6-2, 6-2 on court 3
-Martins dropped Andrea Fuchs 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 and Alexandria Stiteler blanked Ana Perez 6-3, 6-1 on court 1 to extend the lead to 6-0.
-Yu Fujioka finished the day besting Lewis 6-3, 3-6, (10-6) at No. 2.

-The Jaguars' run of 62 straight home victories started Feb. 27, 2013 with a 5-2 win over New Orleans
-Jackson State has been the most frequent victim during the streak with six losses
-South Alabama improved to 7-0 all-time vs. Texas State
-Martins is 11-0 in singles this spring, and Kohoutova is now 10-2
