QUOTES
Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the doubleheader sweep:Â
"When you play a good team, the odds are against you to sweep a doubleheader. But if there's any team you're going to spend a long day with, it's this team. These guys have a lot of fun, and are really great to be around; they go hard and are involved, paying attention and pulling for each other. I'm really proud of their effort today. We beat a good team twice, and we have to come back on a quick turnaround and try to do it again. Everyone chipped in with pitching and defense, we had some timely hits and ran the bases extremely well. These guys have game and situational awareness, and they have been a really good group since they got here in August. Tomorrow's a new day; we'll have to come out and be really good in the three aspects: Â we have to pitch, play defense and score runs when the situations present themselves like we did today."
